If only I knew lust's unreal
If only I felt life surreal
If only I dream of desires tall
If only I made my self whole
If only time would cease the pain
If only days would ease in gain
If only seconds would breathe life
If only goals were passion filled
If only nations were unified still
If only jobs made happiness last
If only vows were seriously cast
If only water was clean again
If only animals wouldn't exist in vain
If only honesty was not a myth
If only I were a better human
Hmm...if only...!

A day unusual, stormy and dark,
The sudden thunder, the occasional bark,
My words were silent, no single remark,
It was raining and pouring, like never before.

I saw her, standing by the road,
My heart went croaking like a toad,
My soul was wet, my spirits soared,
She looked so beautiful, like never before.

Warm was her glance, cold was the air,
There she stood n flirted with her hair,
And all I could do was stand and stare,
She looked so amazing, like never before.

Suddenly she turned and walked towards me,
I already went weak down in my knee,
My heart was beating, fluttering and free,
I was addicted, like never before.

I stood up to her as she just brushed past,
What if she left, what if this was the last,
I had to act....as quick n fast,
I wanted her badly, like never before.

I stopped her walk, trembling with fear,
My eyes could see nothing, but I was in top gear,
Her face I saw then, so angelic n clear,
I melted in there, like never before.

I opened my umbrella, invited her in,
In the darkness all around, I could sense light within,
Would this be my first original sin,
A sinner I felt, like never before.

I held her hand, I looked her in the eye,
I could never leave her, never say goodbye,
It was time for me, to live or die,
I proposed to her, like never before.

She pulled back her hand and threw me on the floor,
She stomped away from there, it surely was a no,
Rejected and dejected, my heart felt the blow.
I cried out on the street, like never before

Abandoned by her, I felt half dead,
My spirits sunk just like my drooping head,
My eyes were weeping, they wept and bled,
I stood so hurt like never before.

My senses were numb,as I walked through the street,
I moved ahead, as I struggled with my feet,
A car threw me off, I could almost feel its heat,
I felt so dead, like never before.

I could see her now from the corner of my eye,
She rushed to me as I knew I was gonna die,
With a warm hug, I said her a final goodbye,
I knew I had loved her like never before.

Slothful youth, wasted with time,
The mystries of a killer dynasty;
Pictured in an innocent mind,
A slow remorse of esctasy!
Time lay barren within its path,
Of sparkless haunted past,
Amidst cries of slaughtered souls,
The beacon of laughter's roar.
Fear mistreats the situ slave,
When warriors have we nil;
With gut as weapon and heavenly guide,
March on without a still...

Pottery Works
Grit to glamour, the wheel’s on spree;
Mashed up tatters, like summer ghee!
Thrashed in Potter, the clay he had;
Pressed it harder, with his hands!
Turned he tumbling, through water sprays,
Mounded ramblings; smoothed and swayed!
Carved he, illustrious, through an artist’s mind,
Young and zealous, design of a kind!
Burned his desire of prototype cast,
Till its marvelous and tuned to last.

In a train I met a stranger
She came and asked a favour
I hesitated but then helped her...
She thanked me, soon fell silence.
I felt curious like a wild horse,
It was a telepathy of ecstasy;
Burnt within a matured desire
Preventing me from talking matter...
Time ran and it was bedtime,
From the side berth, she inquired where I’d depart;
‘Three stops away’, I replied with passion;
Just looking at her had got me into action.
I felt disgust with my thoughts!
Why can’t I just be a good guy of some sort?
After a small chat we left to sleep.
She asked me to wake her before I leave.
Tempted, yet I slept, dreaming,
Within my mind, a dragon screaming!
But when I woke up, she had gone,
Just like everyone, to be lost and forgotten...

I couldn't sleep, the process of internet addiction, nocturnal behavior and the activity in my brain kept increasing and after about an hour of restlessness, I woke up, took my Red Devil and started typing this. This is utter chaos that's often mixed with the dreams and naked reality that's been formulated within my mind. Read on...

Inspired by innovation,
Questioned with time,
Merged with strong judgment,
Creativity of my kind…
Bond into passion,
With less of a fringe;
Nested with laughter,
Voice on a hinge…
Dashed upon trumpets,
Till find I not lie,
Burst into fountains,
Outcomes of a caste…
Lip sealed at envy,
Heart filled with pride;
Fall not on jealousy,
Oh misery on my mind!

Don't leave me here to die...
Life is Fragile!

Tears flow out as I remember
The time, my childhood days
Aspirations sought
Bring about the pictures of kindness
Bestowing upon the unknown
Experience is nil
Conspiracies and ambitions uphill
Living worthless lives
No meaning, no sense.

Then the teenage years
Where love life prevails
Life with a purpose of
Achieving better heights
Develop character, personality
Build physique and temperament
Valuable moments
Gain experience and skill
In every sphere, every instinct

Later entering Adulthood
Facing challenges in life
Tension, troubles arise
As I try to be nice with all
No one cares for your problems
You find a solution, you are the best
Attaining stability in work,
Soaring to greater heights
Starting a real family life

Finally, the Old Age
When wrinkles form
Face weakens, skinny
Like a corpse, diseased
No one cares, no one close by
Time is nil
Death and decay awaits you
Life ends here, and
All that remains is eternal silence

A Dreamy Morning!

Every morning I wake up with a dream...
A dream to achieve new things for the day...
But my dreams never seem to be complete;
Without you I'm no more at ease...
The day you left me had cast a spell,
A bond so evil, it's grave as hell!
I wonder when you'll forgive me love;
I sought you truly, but you deny it now!
Speak to me, once again please,

For eternity may I be your breath...

A lonely night, after a tiresome day,
Stretched my legs and sat to play,
Burned without the past's remorse,
Of time's bliss, into my soul,
The days ago, now brings in me
Feeling of memoirs, not guilt free!
Had I been good, happy would I now be,
But that never could, what's done is seen!
It's coming back,
I'm lost again!
How long would this last?
Please cease my pain!
Grief of sin's betrayal last longer,
Until your humaneness turns stronger,
And finally you rest in peace,
Until the doom's day call, you're free...!

Once upon an autumn season,
Way back in time,
There was an apple,
In a tree we'll all love to find.
As usual it hung on the branches,
Finding it daily strength,
It grew as one beautiful fruit,
That would bring joy to someone's life.
But one day, the wind blew,
Strong and it wouldn't stop,
The apple hung on to dear life,
If it fell, then there's no smiles.
The raindrops began to flow,
Finally it gave in to the blow,
It fell down onto a man,
Isaac Newton was struck hard and fast!
Well this is the saddest part of all,
What more can you ask for?
If an apple a day could keep the doctor away?,
Why did it turn Newton astray?
Science and Gravitational force,
Even at Eden where man met woman,
Everywhere this fruit has caused havoc,
Even today, life hangs on an Apple!

P.S. What would you do if you were the apple that fell on Newton's head?

A normal day travel on a train can cause you to write wonders, just by looking at the happenings inside your boggy. Have you felt the same?

Saga of a Survivor
Through the shadows of night,
I travelled by a way of mockers;
They gossip about black dime,
And meek treasures of human slaughter.
A path so broad and open,
Full of souls that lust of the mortal.
Evil spirits haunt till dawn,
Around Castles of Living ‘Dead men’.
The new moon must rise,
Till then they carry their melodrama,
And once they’re drunk deep with love,
They lose conscious and murder.
Hastily missing each foul did I,
Survival as Only Aim in mind,
I cast these thoughts away,
Like a butterfly on a glide...

I wrote this for my college magazine last year. It's a reminder of the days that we'd spend and how we long to cherish our friendship. Hope you'll enjoy reading it.
The College Memory
Lost in time...
I found this precious rhyme...
When I closed my eyes,
A nerve just pumped it out.
Days of sleepless wander,
Made me think of the past...
My college and friends,
A family I left behind...
Memories haunt me today,
Amidst the worldly bliss...
Slowly I live each day,
Biting silent tears under my breath...
All the fun we had...
And all the pranks we played...
Will remain a memory,
Forever, hereafter...
Will a reunion I see,
After 50 years or so...?
Will I be alive then...
To see my buddies again...?
Time will judge our luck...
And the tide our fate...
But let eternity unite us again
My Dear College Mate!

This is one of my earliest works. I wrote this while day-dreaming in the class. Pretty much a weird one too! Hope you are given a thought provoking experience. Read on...

Song Of Solo-Man
I was born to a couple
Brought up in a stable
Watered with seeds
And boiled in the Sun!
I was turned into bubbles
Sorted from the rubbles
Burnt in the fiery furnace
And melted from the ice!
I was smitten by gangsters
Dealt with by monsters
Eaten by dragons
And drunk right from the gongs!
I fought with beasts
Caught up with the fleas
Charged like a bull
Stepped down from the stool!
I sat beside morons
Got acquainted with 'Zorro'
Was attacked by wolves
And slept in 'Sleepy Hollow'!
But when I woke up
I was a SOLO-MAN
Born to grown-ups
Who had knowledge and were humane too…
